Nipples that have been heavily stressed regenerate particularly well in the air. The silk and the special knitting ensure good air circulation and transport fluid away from the body. The wool is used to absorb liquid. Only bourette silk and fine merino wool from controlled organic animal husbandry are used. The silk side (towards the body) is marked with a pink thread.
